5-Star Quality-of-Life at Purdue University

Purdue University is one of the top public schools in the United States. 11 of its doctoral programs are in the top 10 across the US. In engineering, Purdue’s aerospace/aeronautical/astronautical program was ranked fifth and the civil and mechanical engineering programs were ranked seventh. Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics were both ranked tenth. Purdue’s Krannert School of Management had two programs ranked in the top 10. Productions/operations was ranked third and supply chain/logistics was ranked eighth. In September 2008, Purdue was ranked as the top choice of recruiters from the aerospace and defense industries in a study by Aviation Week & Space Technology magazine. In Computer Science, Purdue has a ranking of 9th in the country and has great programs in Systems and Software engineering. A more comprehensive rankings list for the university can be found here. We spoke to a current student, who is a Masters student at the ECE Department specializing in Wireless and Mobile Communications. They gave some quick notes about the university and their program.
